Since childhood, exposure from Brahms to Big Band, choir to contemporary, music has been a part of my life. Beginning piano lessons at the age of 9, I graduated from Catawba College in Salisbury, NC, studying music under Dr. Lawrence Bond, toured professionally with Director/Arranger Don Trostle, singing with both large and small ensembles, including White House performances and I have taught General Music in the private school sector. Several years ago I opened my private studio and continue to offer individual as well as group lessons, directing, writing and arranging shows in the Phoenix area.
